Reminds me of the time at MIT when Jon Powell used adb to patch the Vax Unix kernel on the fly…

    Interesting………. I don’t remember doing that.

    Hey Jon,
    This would have been 1982 or 1983.
    To a young pup like me, it was impressive feat. Unix had hit some resource limit. (inodes maybe?) And it was in some boot and crash death spiral. I thought you used adb to up the the kernel limit, and all was well.
    I was doing my BS thesis with Bert and Tron at the time.
